PE did not end with the last bell.

In every PE class there was one person who walked up to any exercise first and never asked whether it was really necessary. No excuses and no sick note. The death pull, taken literally. A black, heavy tee with a relaxed fit, the colour of the gym in the evening with the lights off. For the gym and everything after it.
